A fictional ride diary: an evening without a signal
With the bike parked and camp arranged, I found the quiet part of the trip unexpectedly welcome.
The road felt different once I stopped watching the distance counter. Small decisions began to shape the day: where to pause, which bag to open and whether the next stretch suited the mood of the ride. My adventure motorcycle was simply the way to reach those moments.
What I brought home
By the time I parked, I had a better sense of what I wanted from the next outing. I wanted fewer hurried stops and a packing routine I did not have to think about. The journey had been small, but it had given an ordinary weekend a story of its own.
