A simple cooking system can make a short camping trip easier to pack and organise.

Camping equipment needs to work as a small system on an adventure bike. Shelter, sleeping kit and cooking items each compete for bag space, while the order of packing affects how easily camp comes together. A one-night outing is a useful introduction to the routine.

Making the idea work

Pack the items together before leaving and give wet equipment a separate place on the return journey. Notice what stays unused and what is difficult to reach. Those observations can make the next camping load simpler without removing the things that make the evening comfortable.
