De Wolf Extends MX2 Championship Lead in Spain
Published on December 16th, 2025 by
Kay de Wolf delivered a dominant 1-1 performance at the Spanish Grand Prix in Arroyomolinos, extending his MX2 championship advantage to 47 points with four rounds remaining. The Husqvarna rider led every lap of both motos, building a fifteen-second margin in the opening race before managing a more controlled eight-second gap in moto two. His nearest title rival, Simon Längenfelder, salvaged third overall after a first-moto crash dropped him outside the top ten. The German rode brilliantly to recover fourth, then took second in the final moto, but the damage was already done.
